Angela J. Jordan, 58, of Sterling, died on Wednesday evening, March 28, 2018 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling.

She was born on May 11, 1959 in Salina, Kansas to Virgil and Harriet (Sutton) Van Derryt. She married Chris Jordan in 2007 in Rock Island. Angela was an inventory specialist with Ray-O-Vac for 9 years. She was a member of Abiding Word Church in Sterling and was an avid Chicago Bears fan. Angela enjoyed sports of all kind especially supporting her son Trevon at his basketball games.

Survivors include her husband Chris, of Sterling; 2 daughters, Tanya Strader of Sterling and Hailey Koch of Geneseo; 2 sons, Jared Strader of Sterling and Trevon Jordan of Sterling; a sister, Stacey Larson of Coal Valley; 4 grandchildren, Sierrah Strader, Khloe Strader, Charlotte Strader and Parker Woolsey.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Bradley.
