Sue, please accept our sincerest condolences with Tim's passing. Tim was everyone's friend, always there if you needed him and truly enjoyed life. We no longer live in the area and fortunately, the last time I was town, I ran into Tim. Always a big smile and hand shake to greet you--that's what I will miss most. May the comfort of friends and family help you and the children in this time of loss. Our best to you and your family!

Tim Litwiller:

A young man I remember playing high school football with. A guy I recognized when Milledgeville comes to Durand for athletic contests. A quiet guy with a lot of talent in high school. Small build, hard nosed, played with a passion and purchase for the Milledgeville Missiles in 1985. A solid athlete with more talent and heart than most around him.

Perhaps the most important traits and comments I hear from others is that Timothy Litwiller was a devoted husband and terrific father. To the family, our heart goes out to you at this most difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

While I didn't know Tim on much more than a social level, I knew him well enough to know he was good people. We played walleyball against each other for a number of years, and would always join all of the other teams at the local watering hole afterwards for a night cap. I also had the privilege of coaching his son in track. Tim always seemed to be heavily invested in his family and friends. I'm glad I knew him. My sincerest condolences to Sue and the kids. I hope you find peace in the friends and family that love you and Tim. God bless!

The Polo and Milledgeville snowmobile clubs have been close for the several years Ive been and member, and I always looked forward to seeing and speaking with Tim at events such as the vintage ride the Millegdeville club hosted a few weeks back. I know I could always expect and welcoming handshake, smile, and some mild badgering between us regarding the machines we chose to ride. While only knowing Tim casually these past years, I can say that he was well liked, admired, and always surrounded himself with a great group of people in Milledgeville that were proud to call him a friend. The Cavanaugh family in Polo sends the deepest sympathy to Tim's family, friends, and loved ones during this tough time. This country needs more men like Tim Litwiller and will be a lonely place without him. Deepest Thoughts, TImothy J. Cavanaugh

Every guy needs a buddy like Tim, that is probably why he had so many. When you saw him at a ballgame, you would always want to stop and talk to him or sit next to he and Sue. When you would plan a group outing, you always wanted him to go along. How do I get my Ski-Doo to run? What kind of wood should I burn in my woodstove? Or who do I call to pull me out of a snowdrift? Or I need some help with a concrete project. Tim would be the guy you would call first. This leaves a big hole in our Milledgeville Mens's Club and in our community, because everyone needs a buddy like Tim.

Words can not begin to say how sorry I am for your loss of husband, and father. Sitting and watching the basketball games in the last weeks with Tim and Sue, makes this so much more real. Please know your family is in my prayers, asking for your strength and endurance during this trial. I will join Tim from heaven, cheering on his son at the basketball games for the Milledgeville Missels.
