Marjorie "Marge" Watkins, age 82 of Milledgeville died Sunday, July 14, 2013 at her home.

Marge was born May 21, 1931, in Walnut, the daughter of Arthur and Mary (Wagelin) Fritz. She married Donald G. Watkins on June 11, 1950 in Walnut, he preceded her in death on February 25, 2009. Marge worked for many years as a floral designer and enjoyed every minute of that. She also enjoyed going to auctions, collecting kitchen utensils especially potato mashers, gardening, cooking, baking and spending time with her kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter Chris (Dave) Folk of Milledgeville, one son Ron(Cathy) Watkins of Kiel, WI, one brother Bob Fritz, five grandchildren Cory (Erin) Folk of Oregon, Eric (Samantha) Watkins of Plainfield, Cami (Nathan) Hartman of Rock Falls, Leslie Watkins of St. Cloud, WI, and Cassie (Matt) MeKeel of Polo, and nine great grandchildren Caden Hartman, Ian Watkins, Connor Woelfel, Grant Hartman, Cameron Folk, Reese MeKeel, Allison Watkins, Kinsley Folk, and Benton MeKeel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, three sisters, and 4 brothers.

Cremation rites have been accorded, a private graveside service will be 4:00 P.M. Friday, July 19, 2013 at Bethel Cemetery in Milledgeville with Reverend Jim Black officiating. A gathering of family and friends will immediately follow the graveside service for a meal at the Milledgeville Men's Club.

A memorial has been established to the Milledgeville Fire Department, and Hospice of the Rock River Valley.

My condolences on Marge's passing. She was a strong lady with a great sense of humour. Mother always enjoyed visits from her & Donnie back in the days when Donnie ran the milk route at Walnut, & I trust that you all have many good memories as well.

I am so blessed to of had Marge as my mother in law . So many great memories and meals, that lady could cook. I asked her before she passed that when she got to heaven to punch Donnie in the arm and tell him We Love Him.She assured me she would. Love Ya Marge !

I will miss Marge very much. She was a great neighbor, living next to my Mom and Dad for 39 years. It won't be the same without her.
