What can I say? Besides my neighbors, April was my very first friend and we were instantly best friends. From forth grade all the way to graduation. My parents and I have been reminiscing. Dad remembers our first Halloween party, April was a doctor. I dont know why he thought of that but it's one of my dad's first memories. Ape was always crazy fun and full of life. Sooo many memories. As we got older, I've moved a few times and life takes you in different directions, but my memories with April and growing up with her were nothing I would replace. Wrestling, roller skating, sleep overs, boys, parties, four wheeling and road trips are just a few of my memories. Yes, we wrestled..lol...alot happens at the Cowling house hold. My heart is with the family. Im so sorry for your loss.

Paul and Diane ,
I am so sorry to read about the passing of your daughter April. It made me think of the times we would talk about our kids at work. The ups and downs when you have kids. You have my deepest sympathy.

There are soo many memories of April I could share. I sure know one thing, she was one tough cookie, and I was always glad to have her on my side. Ape and I played basketball together in high school and also in several 3 on 3's. Always teased her about her poofy long ponytail. We probably gave Paul and Diane several sleepless nights of worry as well... that girl and I could sure find a good time (trouble) anywhere! A few of the most special memories I have is sitting with her on a concrete bench downtown M'ville, when she had just found out she was expecting Levi, and just talking to her and being there for her. Also, the night that we all found out Steve had passed away, April stayed overnight at my apartment, where I lived with two friends. In the morning she left very early, but she also left a note that thanked us for being such good friends to her, and I still have it to this day. I am thankful to have many many pictures so I can always remember the great times you gave me. Thank you, April~

After hearing the awful news, memories of April and I came flooding back. She was the best friend a girl could ask for. We did some crazy, stupid things. One in paticular, is the night April and I decided to take her parents car for a spin when we were, oh, I'd say 14 or 15. Well, we didn't get the car back before her parents got home and Paul video taped us pulling back into the garage. Do you remember this Paul? Maybe you still have the tape? =) Boy, did she have an adventerous side! She wasn't always an angel on earth but she's Levi's angel in heaven. RIP April. I'll never forget you.

I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
