R.i.p. rich. Till we meet again. Gods speed.

While pastoring Maranatha Baptist Church in Rock Falls I ministered to Rich and his family (including Scrapper). I had the joyous privilege of helping Rich understand what the Bible says about accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. He believed what the Bible said and he willingly prayed for God to forgive him for his sins and rebellion and he asked for God to be his Lord and Savior. We have stayed in touch up until just a couple of weeks ago.
I look forward to seeing him in heaven.
He was a good friend and loved to always entice my appetite with descriptions of what he was or had been cooking.
I'll be in prayer for his family.

My condolences to all his family & friends. Rich was a super nice guy and I always remember people saying how good he was at roasting a hog! God Bless You Rich Parker!

My heart goes out to all of the Parker family. I Wili never forget the wonderful memories of our youth out at Richies house. He always had nothing but a kind word to say to us all, a warm and friendly smile, and a helping hand to anyone who needed it I will never forget the sound of his laugh. Truly a one of a kind. Soar high my friend and may God comfort your family during this time. We shall not be sad, but rejoice in the knowledge that we were blessed just to have been lucky enough to have known you.. ....... Deepest sympathies, Beth Boyer...
