My prayers and thoughts are with Wayne and his family as they keep Mitzi's memories alive in their hearts!
She was very special to everyone that made contact with her and am glad to have had the opportunity to know her for a small time in my life.

Mitzi's passing will be felt by many individuals in the Rock Falls and surrounding communities. She always had what was best for our community foremost in her thoughts. She strove to be the best police officer that she could be. She was compassionate and kind when needed, but she was also firm and exact in what she expected from those with whom she made contact. She understood the dynamics of interacting with individuals and this gave her an inner strength to do what she did daily in Rock Falls: serve and protect its citizens. An individual such as Mitzi comes along infrequently; she will be missed in the Rock Falls community.
