I was sorry to hear of Lee's passing. I enjoyed working for him ( Blacktopping ) and had a lot of fun with him at some of his auctions. He will be missed

Linda and Family
We are sorry for your loss. Lee always had a smile and a welcome for us. I remember the Tues night auctions that Dave and I would work. We would walk in and ask Lee when are we quitting tonight, always hoping around 10,and thats what Lee would tell us but we knew better. !0 o'clock came and we were still picking off of table. After awhile there were only a couple of people left and he would say ,to them, if there is anything you want and we would look up at Archie who was clerking and kind of roll our eyes ,ask the boys to bring it up. Finally about 10:30 we were done. Then Sat sales would come. Be there about 6 and start moving furniture out and loading tables with dishes. We were putting verything where we thought it should go but Lee had other idea's on where it should be but that was ok he was the boss. We thought we were busy but he was busier rearranging. When the sale was all over cleanup was done to perfection and we all were tired. Thanks Lee and Linda for our wedding gift of our floor lamp which we still have. It brings up memories in our conversations and it lights up my suduko book at night. God Bless.

He was the best boss I ever had and also the best work crew I could have ever wanted to work with. It was a job that I looked forward to going to every single day. He was the greatest.

Lee was a very interesting person to sit down and converse with. We enjoyed sitting down and discussing all the problems in the world as far as our opinions. I had known Lee through our interactions at Auction City since the 1980s. One of the nicest guys I have had the privilege of being with was Lee Hollingsworth and certainly called him my friend. Rest in Peace as you definitely have earned it.tazws
