Aunt Eileen was such a big part of my childhood growing up across the street on 5th avenue. No matter how often I banged on the back door she always was there with a big smile and a hearty laugh. "I suppose you would like a cookie or something honey?" And then invite me in and ask how everything was. When our children were out at Halloween we always made sure to drop by and she would insist on having us stay until she had heard of everything going on with the kids as she pointedly asked each one . Always selfless and welcoming she will be sorely missed but always loved and never forgotten.

MOM : Life is not always fair
but Mom you were always there
you nurtured us when we were small
so we could be ready for it all
Throughout all the years
It was you who helped dry up all the tears
No matter our problems or reasons
You were there no matter the season
The years flew by and a lot of time has past
but all the wonderful memories will last
I Love you " MOM "

For the family of Eileen.... I know your mom from Resthave. My mother has lived there also since January, 2016. When I visit every 2 months and stay there with Mom... I saw Eileen in the dining room; our tables were diagonal from each others. Your Mom's room was just across from my mom's, Alice Stiles. I enjoyed talking with her occasionally; often I would tie her clothing protector for her and chat a moment or so. I was just so sorry to learn of her passing from Mom- came unexpectedly to me .... and i'll miss seeing her when i go there again in October. My prayers are with her, and all of you.
