Condolence & Memory Journal

I am not sure if you remember us, but our son, Mikey, was in Kindergarten with Carley. We moved to South Dakota in 2005 to be closer to family. We are so very sorry to hear of your loss. Mike remembers taking Carley with us to McDonald's in Sterling one time...I'm not sure what the occasion was. She was such a cute little girl. We will be praying for her and for you as you remember your beautiful girl.

I didn't really know Carey because of our age difference, but I remember her being around. From what I've read, she was a beautiful soul - no surprise given her family. She was really somebody special to a lot of people, not the least of course you all. I'll be praying for you and Carley. An old YOLIGHT song came on the radio this afternoon, and in it part of it goes "how do you smile with all those tears in your eyes?" I expect there'll be more tears the next few days and weeks than smiles, but every thing has its time. Eventually, when you're ready, I hope you can smile at the thought of the beautiful person you raised and grew up with. She should still be here, but that also doesn't take away the life and the love she had, for you.Take care.
