Condolence & Memory Journal

I met Barbara in a family health class. She had such a pleasant manner and added the
benefit of her working experience to the class discussions. My deepest sympathy to her children and friends.

Barbara was a lovely woman of faith. We will remember as a gracious and caring woman who was dedicated to the Church, her family and her friends. Please accept our deepest sympathies.

Our sympathy, prayers and love go out to Barbara's family. I am Barbara 1st cousin and live in Indiana; her father was my mother's brother.

We know God has a special place prepared for Barbara; she surely earned a storehouse of graces for her years as a religious sister, years as devoted wife and mother of five, and years of service in the health field, and finally, through the offerings of the sufferings of her illness. She was a dear "long distant" companion for her aunt, my mother, Ellen Curran, sharing occasional long, long-distance phone conversations.

My wife, Christine and I were blessed to have prompted by the Holy Spirit to visit Barbara on our way to Nebraska and Kansas on May 8, 2014. She graciously took us out to lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed re-connecting during our brief visit.

Barbara's family can take solace in knowing that Barbara, as a spiritual member of the Mystical Body of Christ, is praying more perfectly than ever for her loved ones left behind. God love you all. John and Christine Curran
