Dear Sherry and George:
We did meet a number of years ago, before your mother started on dialysis. I went to school with Jan and Jim through St. Mary's and Newman and together with a third friend, David Kooy, we made the Sterling Theatre a little richer on Friday and Saturdays together with a few other friends. Jan had the most contagious laugh and we made sure she laughed a lot. All who knew her now share an emptiness of so many memories. The last time I saw your mother was about three years ago at David Kooy's funeral. She looked wonderful and I commented on how much she reminded me of her grandmother....if she had had a baseball bat she would have clubbed me with it !!! But her smile was the smile of her Grandmother who llived with them for a while in Sterling. Gentle peace to you all in memory of Janet.

Just wanted to post something about that absolute strongest person I have ever known. Her courage and fight thru all the decades of health issues prove that the human spirit can prevail if it wants to. I know for a fact her fight was for her children and especially 2 very important people Sierra and Gage. I am a better person for having known her and lucky to be a part of her life for the last 24 years............ Rest In Peace
