Lavona M. Egert Oncken Obituary

Lavona M. Egert Oncken, age 94, of Prophetstown, died Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Rock River Hospice and Home in Sterling.
Lavona was born July 20, 1927 in Prophetstown the daughter of Perry and Lila Egert. She married Ronald W. Oncken, Sr. on July 28, 1948. He preceded her in death on October 7, 2010.
She is survived by four sons, Bradley (Marilyn), Stanley (Denice), Richard (Barbara) and Ronald W. Oncken, Jr. "Fritz"; one daughter-in-law, Peggy Oncken; and her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and one son, Brent.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a private service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to Rock River Hospice and Home and the Prophetstown Ambulance Service.
