I had the luxury to work around Dave on many Construction sites with IDOT but I also knew him well within our family. Dave was a very hard worker, sometimes a quiet person but willing to help anyone out. I remember we were on a project in my home town and they were having issues with there flagger radios at the time so I ran home and grabbed my kids camping radios. He was blown away by me helping them.

I am pleased to call him a friend and he was always approachable to talk to. May his entire family find peace at this difficult time. I am glad to had the opportunity to work around him but also know him as a friend. RIP Dave, hope you catch the Big One!!
