David Wolf Obituary

David A. Wolf, Sr., age 66, of Lyndon, died Monday, August 12, 2019 at his home.

David was born March 12, 1953 in Sterling the son of Walter and Lenore (Steffen) Wolf. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and later married Sally Galvin on March 12, 1999 in Sterling. She preceded him in death on February 23, 2018. David was employed at Tyson for 15 years retiring in 2018.

Survivors include one son, David A. Wolf, Jr.; and five sisters, Judy Bonnell and husband Rusty Seats, Debbie (Alvin) Wolbeck, Betty Wolf, Tammy (Lyle) Bonnell and Lenae (Danny) Bonnell.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; one sister, Sue Bonnell; one brother, Walter Wolf; and one brother-in-law, Richard Bonnell.

A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 10:00 - Noon with military honors to follow at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
