As a boy and a man we the class of 1960 were proud to have grown up with Willy. Through the years he was always in our thoughts. He will be missed.

I met John at the Lyndon United Methodist Church years ago, and like so many others, became aware of the very beautiful, rich voice he had. When he sang a song, his voice, plus the quiet feeling way he delivered it, could put his listener so much closer to God. I can only imagine how much the angels will enjoy it.
May God bless your family during this loss,
Sally Renkes

I am praying for all of you during this time of sadness.....I know that Willy is home with his other family but this family left behind are going to miss the smile, hugs and kisses he gave......I know I will miss the phone calls and the laughter and the nice talks that we had......
So my prayers for you is strength and comfort.....your memories will last a lifetime and then someday we will all celebrate at our Lords feast table and be together again forever......
I know he is smiling down at each one of us..........
