My deepest condolences go out to you and the family. I only had the chance to meet you and Larry at the last Stalag 17B reunion, but you both impressed me with your vitality and love for each other.
Give to the departed eternal rest;
May light perpetual shine upon him.

So many memories, spent so many hours in your home growing up. So glad he was able to make it to Fl. last month. My thoughts and prayers have been with you all this week! Wish we could be there for you and I am so glad we were able to " crash" the Huffman reunion and visit with my favorite uncle a couple of years ago. Hope to see you all in the spring.

Judy, I am crying with you. He truly was a wonderful man. We are so sorry for your and his childrens loss. His knowledge of thing includng the war amazed us as I am sure many others. He was so lucky to have had you in his life the past 10 years, and to be able to do the traveling he did. We are all better people because we were able to get to know both of you. So glad I came out to see you this fall. Love to you

So sorry Judy for your loss! I'm happy I got to clean for Larry! He kept a nice home. I enjoyed all his war stories! I know you will miss him terribly but know that he is in God's hands now. What a comfort that is!

Jane so very sorry to learn of your dad's passing. Reading his obituary, tells me what an honorable person he was and so very accomplished. Again, we send our sympathy.

So sorry to hear of your loss but so grateful to have been able to know such a wonderful man. He had such a profound and positive impact on so many people. Many wonderful Dennis/Utzinger gatherings to remember. Hugs to all of you.

We were lucky enough to spend time with Uncle Larry and Judy last year when they stayed with us a couple of days in Charlotte. Along with son Scott and wife Kelley, we had fun exchanging travel stories with them, and also hearing more of Larry's riveting World War II stories. Our son Steve and his wife and kids were also so fascinated by Larry's stories when he and Judy stayed with us in NJ a few years ago. It

So sorry for your loss. Sounds like he led a very full life. Always remember how neat and tidy he kept his home and yard on Hanssler. Spent many happy times playing with Jane there.

Dear Jane:

Your father's obituary reads like: "What I want to be when I grow up!" Sounds like he had a wonderful, fulfilling life. I know from personal experience that the dead live on in the hearts and minds of those who knew and loved them.
I sounds like your father was truly loved and greatly admired. Sorry for your loss and the sadness it brings you.

Fond regards, Gervaise
